Operation of Battery Charging Controller:

Battery charging controller is used to control high current thyristor based panel. Batteries used in automotive industry for e.g. Exide need to be charged during manufacturing process with systematic charging current cycles till required AH is achieved. Battery Controller has setting facility for charged current, rest time and AH required. Controller automatically stops once battery AH is achieved.

 

Features of Battery Charging Controller:

 

Programmable cycles up to three numbers. Each cycle has charging current, rest time and required AH setting

Controller outputs analog voltage in the range of 0-10V depending on current set value

Controller displays DC bus voltage, actual current, set current, actual current, actual AH, set AH, program time and actual time

During power failure controller saves current data and starts from the cycle where power failure has occurred

  • Potential free relay contact
  • Load fault indication
  • Phase fail indication
